Band Kneeling One Arm Pulldown

This exercise uses a stretchy band to work your back and arm muscles. You kneel on the floor and pull the band from high up down to your side. Move slowly and focus on squeezing your muscles as you pull.

Band Kneeling One Arm Pulldown demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Tie the band to a strong object above your head.
  2. 2Kneel down and hold the band with one hand, palm facing the floor.
  3. 3Reach your arm all the way up, but keep your elbow slightly loose.
  4. 4Use your back muscles to pull the band down until your elbow touches your ribs.
  5. 5Stop for a second at the bottom, then slowly let your arm go back up.
  6. 6Do this for the right number of times, then switch to the other arm.
