Barbell Bent Arm Pullover

The barbell bent arm pullover is a strength exercise that works your back muscles, triceps, and chest. You lie on a bench and lower a barbell behind your head in a controlled arc, then lift it back up.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on your back on a flat bench with your head at the edge and your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold a barbell with your hands shoulder-width apart and straighten your arms directly over your chest.
  3. 3Keep a small bend in your elbows and slowly lower the barbell behind your head.
  4. 4Stop for a second, then lift the barbell back up to where you started.
  5. 5Do this movement again for the number of times you want.
