Weighted Three Bench Dips

This exercise strengthens your arm muscles, specifically the triceps, by using three benches and extra weight. It also works your chest and shoulders. You need to be strong and move carefully to stay safe.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the edge of a bench and hold the edge with your hands, keeping your fingers pointing forward.
  2. 2Move your feet forward to slide your bottom off the bench while holding your weight up with your arms.
  3. 3Bend your elbows to lower your body, making sure to keep your back very close to the bench.
  4. 4Stop for a short moment at the bottom, then push yourself back up to where you started.
  5. 5Do this movement as many times as needed.
