Weighted Standing Curl

This is a simple strength exercise where you stand up and lift dumbbells to build your bicep muscles. It also helps strengthen your forearm muscles a little bit.

Weighted Standing Curl demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand tall with your feet as wide as your shoulders. Hold a weight in each hand with your palms facing forward.
  2. 2Keep your elbows stuck to your sides. Breathe out as you lift the weights up toward your shoulders.
  3. 3Stop for a second at the top, then breathe in as you slowly lower the weights back down.
  4. 4Repeat these steps for the number of times you want.
