Weighted Overhead Crunch (on Stability Ball)

This exercise works your tummy muscles, side muscles, and lower back. Using the big exercise ball makes it harder to keep your balance. Holding a weight above your head adds extra work for your muscles, making the exercise tougher.

Weighted Overhead Crunch (on Stability Ball) demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the ball. Keep your feet flat on the floor and bend your knees comfortably.
  2. 2Hold a weight with both hands and reach your arms straight up above your head.
  3. 3Tighten your tummy muscles. Slowly curl your upper body forward, moving your chest toward your knees.
  4. 4Stop for a moment at the top. Then, slowly move your body back to where you started.
  5. 5Do this again for as many times as you want.
