Weighted Close Grip Chin-up On Dip Cage

This is a hard upper body workout done on a dip cage. It works your back, biceps, and forearms. You add extra weight to the exercise to make it tougher and build more strength.

Weighted Close Grip Chin-up On Dip Cage demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand at the dip cage. Hold the parallel bars with an underhand grip. Keep your hands as wide as your shoulders.
  2. 2Hang down with your arms straight. Keep your feet off the floor and your body straight.
  3. 3Squeeze your back muscles to pull yourself up. Keep your elbows close to your sides.
  4. 4Pull up until your chin is higher than the bars. Stop there for a short moment.
  5. 5Slowly lower yourself back down until your arms are fully straight.
  6. 6Do this again for the number of times you want.
