Twisted Leg Raise

The twisted leg raise is a bodyweight workout for your tummy muscles. It focuses on the sides of your waist and the front of your hips. You lift your legs and twist your hips to work your core from different directions.

Twisted Leg Raise demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie flat on your back with your legs straight out and your arms down by your sides.
  2. 2Put your hands under your bottom to help support your back.
  3. 3Tighten your stomach muscles and lift both legs up while keeping them straight.
  4. 4As you lift, twist your hips to one side so your legs move toward the opposite shoulder.
  5. 5Stop for a second at the top, then slowly lower your legs back to the start.
  6. 6Do the same move again, but twist your hips to the other side.
  7. 7Keep switching sides for as many times as you want.
