Twin Handle Parallel Grip Lat Pulldown

The twin handle parallel grip lat pulldown is a back exercise done on a cable machine. It works the large muscles on the sides of your back, along with your arms and shoulders. You sit down and pull two handles straight down to your chest while keeping your hands facing each other.

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the seat height and sit facing the machine.
  2. 2Hold the handles so your palms face each other, with hands as wide as your shoulders.
  3. 3Sit with your legs under the pads and feet flat on the floor.
  4. 4Lean back just a little and keep your chest lifted.
  5. 5Pull the handles down to your upper chest and squeeze your back muscles.
  6. 6Hold for a second at the bottom to feel your muscles work.
  7. 7Slowly let the handles go back up to the start.
  8. 8Do this again for the number of times you want.
