Standing Hamstring And Calf Stretch With Strap

This is a standing exercise where you use a strap to gently stretch the muscles in the back of your legs. It helps your legs move more easily and feel less tight.

Standing Hamstring And Calf Stretch With Strap demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand tall with your feet a little bit apart.
  2. 2Hold the strap with both hands and loop it around the front part (ball) of one foot.
  3. 3Keep that leg straight and slowly lean your body forward from your hips, making sure your back stays flat.
  4. 4You should feel a gentle pull in the back of your thigh and lower leg.
  5. 5Stay in this position for 20 to 30 seconds.
  6. 6Let go of the stretch and do the same thing with your other leg.
  7. 7Do this as many times as you need to.
