Smith Bent Knee Good Morning

This is a lower body exercise done on a Smith machine. It mainly works the muscles in your bottom, but it also helps the back of your legs and your lower back. To do it, you bend forward at your hips with your knees bent just a little, keep your back straight while lowering your chest, and then stand back up.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet as wide as your shoulders and point your toes straight ahead.
  2. 2Rest the bar on the muscles of your upper back.
  3. 3Bend your knees a tiny bit and lean forward from your hips, making sure your back stays straight.
  4. 4Lower your upper body until it is flat like a table and you feel a stretch in the back of your legs.
  5. 5Use your bottom and leg muscles to pull your body back up to standing.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you need.
