Side Push Neck Stretch

This is a soft stretch for the muscles in your neck and upper shoulders. It helps your neck move better and gets rid of tightness.

Side Push Neck Stretch demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit or stand tall and let your shoulders hang loose.
  2. 2Lean your head to the right so your right ear goes toward your right shoulder.
  3. 3Put your right hand on the left side of your head and push down very gently to stretch a little more.
  4. 4Stay in this spot for 15 to 30 seconds.
  5. 5Do the same thing on the left side using your left hand to push gently.
  6. 6Do this 2 or 3 times for each side.
