Scapula Dips

This bodyweight exercise strengthens your upper back and traps. It focuses on pulling your shoulder blades together and down to build shoulder stability.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and reach your arms straight out in front of you.
  2. 2Bend your knees slightly and lean your upper body forward from your hips, making sure to keep your back flat.
  3. 3Bend your elbows to lower yourself while squeezing your shoulder blades together, as if pinching a pencil between them.
  4. 4Hold briefly at the bottom, then push through your hands to straighten your arms and return to the start.
