Quads (bodyweight Squat)

This exercise uses your own body weight to strengthen your legs. It mainly works the front of your thighs, but also helps your hamstrings and butt. You can do this basic movement anywhere without any equipment.

Quads (bodyweight Squat) demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand up tall with your feet as wide as your shoulders.
  2. 2Bend your knees and push your hips back like you are sitting in a chair.
  3. 3Keep your chest lifted and your back flat.
  4. 4Lower your body until your thighs are level with the floor.
  5. 5Push down into your heels to stand back up to the start.
  6. 6Do this again for the number of times you chose.
