Muscle Up

This is a very hard bodyweight exercise. It mixes a pull-up and a dip into one move. You need a lot of upper body strength and speed to do it. It mostly works your back muscles, but it also uses your arms, shoulders, and chest.

How to Perform

  1. 1Hang from the bar with your arms straight and your palms facing away from you.
  2. 2Tighten your stomach muscles and pull your body up, leading with your chest.
  3. 3When you get to the top, change your grip so your palms are facing you.
  4. 4Keep pulling yourself up until your chest is over the bar and your arms are bent.
  5. 5Slowly lower yourself back down to where you started.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you want.
