Lying Elbow To Knee

This is a tummy exercise you do on the floor without any weights. It works your abs and helps with your balance. You lie on your back and take turns bringing your elbow toward the opposite knee.

Lying Elbow To Knee demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie down on your back. Bend your knees and keep your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Put your hands behind your head. Keep your elbows pointing out to the sides.
  3. 3Tighten your tummy muscles. Lift your upper body and move your right elbow toward your left knee.
  4. 4At the same time, straighten your right leg and lift it off the floor.
  5. 5Hold still for a second, then go back to how you started.
  6. 6Do the same thing again, but use your left elbow and right knee while straightening your left leg.
  7. 7Keep switching sides for as many times as you need.
