Lower Back Curl

This is a simple exercise you do on the floor to make your lower back stronger. You lie on your stomach and use your back muscles to lift your chest up. It also helps work your bottom and the backs of your legs.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie down flat on your stomach. Keep your legs straight out and put your arms by your sides.
  2. 2Tighten your bottom and leg muscles.
  3. 3Slowly lift your chest and upper body up off the floor.
  4. 4Hold that position for a short moment.
  5. 5Slowly lower your body back down to the floor.
  6. 6Do this as many times as you need to.
