The lever seated calf raise is a machine exercise that builds strength in your lower legs. You perform it while sitting down, using a lever to create heavy resistance as you lift and lower your heels.

How to Perform

  1. 1Move the seat height until your knees are bent a little and your feet rest flat on the platform.
  2. 2Move your feet so only your toes are on the edge and your heels hang off the back.
  3. 3Hold onto the handles or the seat to stay steady.
  4. 4Push down with your toes to lift your heels as high as you can.
  5. 5Stop for a second at the top, then slowly lower your heels back down.
  6. 6Do this again for the number of times you want.
