Lever Rotary Calf

This exercise uses a machine to work on your calf muscles. While sitting, you push your heels up and let them down. This strengthens your lower legs and ankles.

Lever Rotary Calf demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Move the seat so your knees have a small bend and your feet rest flat on the platform.
  2. 2Put just your toes on the platform, letting your heels hang off the back edge.
  3. 3Hold onto the handles or the machine's sides to stay steady.
  4. 4Push down with the front of your feet to lift your heels up as high as they can go.
  5. 5Stop for a second at the top, then slowly bring your heels back down.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you need.
