Lever Lateral Raise

This machine exercise helps build your shoulder muscles. You lift your arms out to the sides to work the side of your shoulders and your upper back. Since the machine holds your body steady, it is very safe and easy for beginners to use.

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the seat to the right height. Sit on the machine and press your back against the pad.
  2. 2Hold the handles with your palms facing down. Keep your arms straight.
  3. 3Breathe out and lift your arms out to the sides until they are level with the floor.
  4. 4Wait for a second at the top. Then, breathe in and slowly lower your arms back to the start.
  5. 5Do this again for the number of times you planned.
