Lever Kneeling Leg Curl

This is an exercise for the back of your legs, which are called the hamstrings. You do it while kneeling on a special machine. It mainly strengthens your hamstrings but also helps your bottom muscles.

How to Perform

  1. 1Set up the machine to fit your body and pick the weight you want to lift.
  2. 2Kneel on the machine looking down. Put your knees on the pad and hook your feet under the rollers.
  3. 3Hold onto the handles or the sides of the machine to stay steady.
  4. 4Keep your upper body still. Breathe out and bend your knees to lift your legs up toward your bottom.
  5. 5Stop for a second at the top and squeeze the muscles in the back of your legs.
  6. 6Breathe in and slowly lower your legs back down until they are straight again.
  7. 7Do this again for as many times as you need.
