Lever Alternating Narrow Grip Seated Row

This machine exercise works the muscles in your upper back. You sit up straight and pull one handle at a time toward your body.

Lever Alternating Narrow Grip Seated Row demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Move the seat and footrest so they fit your body comfortably.
  2. 2Sit with a straight back and put your feet flat on the footrests.
  3. 3Hold the handles close together with your palms facing each other.
  4. 4Keep your chest up and your shoulders back the whole time.
  5. 5Pull one handle toward your body while keeping the other hand still.
  6. 6Squeeze your shoulder blades together when you pull the handle back.
  7. 7Slowly let the handle return to the start, then repeat with the other hand.
  8. 8Keep switching sides until you finish your set.
