Kettlebell One Arm Floor Press

This is a chest exercise you do while lying on the floor. You push a kettlebell straight up using one arm at a time. It works your chest, shoulder, and arm muscles, and helps you learn to control the weight.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on your back on the floor. Bend your knees and place your feet flat on the ground.
  2. 2Hold the kettlebell in one hand with your arm pointing straight up at the ceiling. Your palm should face toward your feet.
  3. 3Slowly lower the weight toward your chest by bending your elbow. Keep your arm close to your side.
  4. 4Stop for a second just before the weight touches your chest. Push it back up until your arm is straight again.
  5. 5Do this as many times as you need. Then switch hands and do the same with the other arm.
