This is a moving exercise for your stomach muscles. You pass a kettlebell between your legs to make the shape of the number 8. It works your abs, shoulders, and arms while testing your balance.

Kettlebell Figure 8 demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet as wide as your shoulders and hold the kettlebell in one hand.
  2. 2Bend your knees a little and lean forward at your hips. Keep your back flat.
  3. 3Pass the weight between your legs and switch hands when it is behind you.
  4. 4When the weight comes forward, pass it to your other hand between your legs.
  5. 5Keep passing the weight through your legs to make a figure 8 shape.
  6. 6Move at a steady speed and keep your stomach muscles tight the whole time.
  7. 7Do this as many times as you need.
