Kettlebell Alternating Row

The kettlebell alternating row builds strength in your upper back. You do this exercise by leaning forward and pulling the kettlebells up towards your chest, one arm at a time.

Kettlebell Alternating Row demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet apart and your knees slightly bent. Hold a kettlebell in each hand with your palms facing you.
  2. 2Lean forward at your hips. Keep your back flat and your tummy muscles tight.
  3. 3Pull one kettlebell up to your chest. Keep your elbow close to your side and squeeze your back muscles.
  4. 4Lower that kettlebell back down. Then, do the same movement with the other arm.
  5. 5Keep switching arms back and forth until you finish your set.
