Hanging Leg Hip Raise

This is a simple exercise where you use your own body weight to make your tummy muscles strong. You hang from a high bar and lift your legs up. This works your middle section and the front of your hips.

How to Perform

  1. 1Hold onto a high bar with your arms straight and your palms facing away from you.
  2. 2Tighten your tummy muscles.
  3. 3Lift your legs by bending your hips and knees until your upper legs are flat like a table.
  4. 4Stop for a short second at the top.
  5. 5Slowly lower your legs back down to where you started.
  6. 6Do this as many times as you need to.
