Half Sit-up (male)

This bodyweight exercise works your stomach muscles. You lift your upper body halfway up from the floor, mostly using your abs and a little bit of your hips.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Put your hands behind your head and point your elbows out to the sides.
  3. 3Tighten your stomach muscles. Slowly curl your upper body up until you are halfway to sitting up.
  4. 4Stop for a moment at the top. Then, slowly lower yourself back down to where you started.
  5. 5Do this movement as many times as you want.
