Glute Bridge March

The glute bridge march is a bodyweight exercise that strengthens your bottom and leg muscles. You hold your body in a bridge shape and lift your knees one at a time, just like you are marching in place.

Glute Bridge March demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Squeeze your bottom muscles and lift your hips until your body forms a straight line.
  3. 3Keep your hips high and lift one foot off the floor, bringing your knee toward your chest.
  4. 4Gently lower your foot back to the floor.
  5. 5Do the same movement with your other leg.
  6. 6Keep switching legs in a marching motion while keeping your hips lifted.
  7. 7Repeat this for the number of times you want.
