Floor Fly (with Barbell)

This chest exercise is done while lying flat on the floor. You use a barbell to make your chest muscles stretch and tighten effectively.

Floor Fly (with Barbell) demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on your back on the floor. Bend your knees and keep your feet flat.
  2. 2Hold the barbell with both hands using an overhand grip. Reach your arms straight up above your chest.
  3. 3Slowly lower the bar out to your sides. Keep your elbows slightly bent.
  4. 4Lower the weight until your arms are level with the floor. Feel the stretch in your chest.
  5. 5Wait for a second. Then, squeeze your chest to lift the bar back to the start.
  6. 6Do this again for as many reps as you need.
