Ez Barbell Seated Triceps Extension

The seated EZ barbell triceps extension is an exercise that focuses on building your triceps muscles. You do it while sitting down and holding a curved bar called an EZ barbell. It helps make your arms stronger and uses your shoulders slightly to keep you steady.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on a bench with your back straight and your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold the EZ barbell with your palms facing forward and your hands as wide as your shoulders.
  3. 3Lift the bar straight up over your head until your arms are fully straight.
  4. 4Keep your upper arms still and lower the bar behind your head by bending only your elbows.
  5. 5Stop for a second at the bottom.
  6. 6Push the bar back up to the top by straightening your arms.
  7. 7Do this again for as many times as you need.
