Ez Bar Lying Close Grip Triceps Extension Behind Head

This exercise works your triceps muscles. You lie on a bench and hold an EZ bar with your hands close together. You must move carefully and use good form to protect your shoulders and make your triceps work hard.

Ez Bar Lying Close Grip Triceps Extension Behind Head demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on your back on a bench with your feet on the floor and your head near the edge.
  2. 2Hold the EZ bar with your hands close together and palms facing up, then push your arms straight up above your chest.
  3. 3Keep your upper arms still, then slowly lower the bar behind your head by bending only your elbows.
  4. 4Stop for a second, then push your arms back up to where they started.
  5. 5Do this again for as many times as you want.
