Exercise Ball Hip Flexor Stretch

This exercise uses a stability ball to stretch your hip flexors and work your glutes. It also uses your thigh muscles. You need good balance and flexibility to do it, but it is easy enough for most people.

Exercise Ball Hip Flexor Stretch demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Kneel on the floor in front of the stability ball.
  2. 2Put your right foot on top of the ball with your knee bent.
  3. 3Stretch your left leg straight out behind you.
  4. 4Lean forward and push your hips toward the ball until you feel a stretch in your right hip.
  5. 5Hold this position for 20 to 30 seconds, then switch to the other side.
