Elevator

This exercise uses your own body weight to strengthen your upper back. You simply lean forward from your waist while keeping your spine flat, then return to standing. Doing this regularly helps improve your posture and back strength.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand tall with your feet as wide as your shoulders and keep your knees slightly bent.
  2. 2Put your hands on your hips or cross them over your chest.
  3. 3Keep your back very straight and slowly bend forward at your waist, lowering your body down.
  4. 4Wait for a second at the bottom, then slowly lift your body back up to where you started.
