Elbow Dips

This exercise works your triceps using a bench or chair. You move your body down and up by bending and straightening your arms, while keeping your back close to the seat.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the edge of a sturdy bench or chair and hold the edge right next to your hips.
  2. 2Slide your hips forward off the seat and straighten your legs so your heels touch the floor.
  3. 3Bend your elbows to lower your body down, making sure to keep your back close to the bench.
  4. 4Stop for a moment at the bottom, then push with your hands to straighten your arms and lift yourself back up.
  5. 5Repeat these movements for the number of times you want.
