Dumbbell Squat

The dumbbell squat is a leg exercise that strengthens your bottom and thigh muscles. You do it by holding a weight in each hand and lowering your body down and up.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet apart. Hold a weight in each hand by your sides.
  2. 2Keep your chest high and stomach tight. Bend your knees and hips to go down, like you are sitting in a chair.
  3. 3Lower yourself until your legs are flat like a table, or as low as is comfortable.
  4. 4Stop for a short time at the bottom. Then, push down with your heels to stand back up.
  5. 5Repeat this for the number of times you want.
