Dumbbell Romanian Deadlift

This is a strength exercise for your butt, the back of your legs, and your lower back. You hold weights and bend forward at your hips. This move helps build strong muscles on the back of your body and teaches you how to bend correctly.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet as wide as your shoulders. Hold a weight in each hand with your palms facing your body.
  2. 2Keep your back straight and your stomach muscles tight. Bend forward at your hips to lower the weights toward the floor, letting your knees bend just a tiny bit.
  3. 3Lower the weights until you feel a stretch in the back of your legs. Then, push down with your heels and squeeze your butt muscles to stand up straight again.
  4. 4Do this motion again for as many times as you need.
