Dumbbell Rear Delt Raise

This exercise works the muscles on the back of your shoulders and helps your upper back. You do it by leaning forward at your hips and lifting weights out to your sides.

Dumbbell Rear Delt Raise demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet apart. Hold a weight in each hand with your palms facing your body.
  2. 2Bend your knees a little bit. Lean forward from your hips while keeping your back straight.
  3. 3Lift your arms out to the sides until they are level with the floor. Keep a small bend in your elbows.
  4. 4Stop for a moment at the top, then slowly lower your arms back down.
  5. 5Repeat this for as many times as you need.
