This is a chest and back exercise that also works your arms. You do it with one arm while sitting on an exercise ball. Because the ball moves, you must use your stomach muscles to balance.

Dumbbell One Arm Pullover On Exercise Ball demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the exercise ball with your feet flat and knees bent.
  2. 2Hold a dumbbell in one hand and reach your arm straight up toward the ceiling.
  3. 3Slowly lower the weight behind your head, keeping your arm straight.
  4. 4Stop for a second, then lift the weight back up to the start.
  5. 5Finish all your reps, then switch to the other arm.
