Dumbbell One Arm Lateral Raise With Support demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a dumbbell in one hand with your palm facing your body.
  2. 2Put your other hand on a bench or wall to hold yourself steady.
  3. 3Keep your back straight and tighten your stomach muscles.
  4. 4Lift the dumbbell out to the side, keeping your arm straight and your palm facing down.
  5. 5Keep lifting until your arm is flat like the floor.
  6. 6Stop for a moment at the top, then slowly lower the weight back down.
  7. 7Do this for all your repetitions, then switch to the other arm.
