Dumbbell Lying Rear Delt Row

You do this exercise while lying on your stomach on a bench. It works the muscles in your upper back and the back of your shoulders by pulling weights up.

Dumbbell Lying Rear Delt Row demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on your stomach on a flat bench. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with your palms facing each other.
  2. 2Let your arms hang down toward the floor. Keep your elbows slightly bent.
  3. 3Use your back muscles to pull the dumbbells up to your chest. Squeeze your shoulder blades together as you lift.
  4. 4Hold for a second at the top. Then, slowly lower the weights back down.
  5. 5Repeat this for the number of times you want.
