Dumbbell Incline Twisted Flyes

This is a chest workout done on a slanted bench. It focuses on your upper chest muscles by adding a simple wrist turn to the movement.

Dumbbell Incline Twisted Flyes demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Adjust the bench so it is slanted at a 45-degree angle. Sit down holding a weight in each hand with your palms facing each other.
  2. 2Lie back on the bench. Push the weights straight up above your chest with your arms straight.
  3. 3Slowly lower the weights out to your sides in a wide circle shape until you feel a stretch in your chest.
  4. 4As you lower the weights, turn your wrists so your palms face forward when your hands are at the bottom.
  5. 5Move the weights back up the same way to where you started. Squeeze your chest muscles together at the top.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you need.
