Dumbbell Incline Row

This exercise strengthens your upper back. You lie face-forward on an angled bench and pull dumbbells up. It works your back muscles, shoulders, and arms.

Dumbbell Incline Row demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Adjust the bench to a 45-degree slant.
  2. 2Hold a weight in each hand. Sit and lean your chest flat against the bench pad.
  3. 3Let your arms hang straight down towards the floor.
  4. 4Pull the weights up to your chest and squeeze your shoulder blades together.
  5. 5Hold still for a second at the top, then slowly lower the weights back down.
  6. 6Do this again for your chosen number of repetitions.
