Dumbbell Burpee

The dumbbell burpee is a tough exercise for your whole body. It mixes a squat, a push-up, and a lift over your head with dumbbells. It makes your heart beat faster and works many muscles at once, like your legs, arms, and stomach.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand tall with your feet apart and hold a dumbbell in each hand.
  2. 2Squat down and put the dumbbells on the floor in front of you.
  3. 3Kick your feet back so you are in a plank position. Keep your body straight.
  4. 4Bend your elbows to lower your chest to the floor for a push-up.
  5. 5Jump your feet back to your hands so you are in a squat again.
  6. 6Stand up quickly and lift the dumbbells from the floor to your shoulders.
  7. 7Push the dumbbells straight up over your head until your arms are straight.
  8. 8Lower the weights back to your shoulders and do the whole movement again.
