This exercise mixes a standard arm curl with sitting on a bouncy BOSU ball. It strengthens your arm muscles and forces you to use your stomach muscles to stay balanced.

Dumbbell Biceps Curl V Sit On Bosu Ball demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the BOSU ball with your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent.
  2. 2Hold a weight in each hand. Let your arms hang straight down by your sides with your palms facing forward.
  3. 3Keep your upper arms still. Breathe out and lift the weights up by bending your elbows.
  4. 4Keep lifting until your arm muscles are tight and the weights reach your shoulders.
  5. 5Hold still for a moment at the top and squeeze your arm muscles.
  6. 6Breathe in and slowly lower the weights back down to where you started.
  7. 7Do this again for the number of times you need.
