Dumbbell Bench Seated Press

This exercise builds strength in your shoulder muscles. It also works your triceps and chest. You sit on a bench and push dumbbells over your head with control.

Dumbbell Bench Seated Press demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on a bench holding a dumbbell in each hand on your legs.
  2. 2Lean back and lift the dumbbells to the sides of your chest with your palms facing forward.
  3. 3Push the weights up until your arms are straight.
  4. 4Stop for a moment at the top, then slowly lower the weights back to where you started.
  5. 5Do this again for as many times as you want.
