Decline Sit-up

The decline sit-up is a tummy exercise you do on a slanted bench. Because you are lying head-down, gravity makes it harder to sit up. It works your abs, hips, and lower back.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on a slanted bench and hook your feet under the pads with your knees bent.
  2. 2Put your hands behind your head or cross them over your chest.
  3. 3Tighten your tummy muscles and lift your upper body up toward your knees.
  4. 4Stop for a second at the top, then slowly lower yourself back down.
  5. 5Do this as many times as you need to.
