Crunch (hands Overhead)

In this version of the crunch, you keep your arms reaching straight out past your head. This makes your body longer, which makes your tummy muscles work much harder than usual.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Reach your arms straight out behind your head.
  3. 3Tighten your tummy muscles and lift your upper body up, curling toward your knees.
  4. 4Hold still for a second at the top, then slowly lower your body back down.
  5. 5Do this as many times as you need.
