Cross Body Crunch

This exercise works your stomach muscles using just your body weight. You twist your upper body to bring one elbow toward the opposite knee to tighten your core.

Cross Body Crunch demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie down on your back with your knees bent and your feet resting flat on the floor.
  2. 2Put your hands behind your head and keep your elbows pointing out to the sides.
  3. 3Tighten your stomach muscles, lift your upper body up, and twist so your right elbow moves toward your left knee.
  4. 4Hold the position for a second, then slowly lower yourself back down.
  5. 5Do the same thing on the other side, moving your left elbow toward your right knee.
  6. 6Repeat these steps for as many times as you want to do the exercise.
