Calf Push Stretch With Hands Against Wall

This bodyweight exercise works your calf muscles and also stretches the back of your legs. You do it by standing in front of a wall with your hands on it, stepping one foot back, and leaning forward to feel the stretch.

Calf Push Stretch With Hands Against Wall demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand in front of a wall with your feet a little bit apart.
  2. 2Put your hands on the wall as high as your shoulders.
  3. 3Take a step back with one foot. Keep that leg straight and your heel flat on the floor.
  4. 4Bend your front knee a little and lean forward until you feel a stretch in your back calf.
  5. 5Stay in this position for 20 to 30 seconds.
  6. 6Change legs and do the stretch again.
