Cable Rope High Pulley Overhead Tricep Extension

This exercise uses a cable machine with a rope to strengthen your triceps muscles. You pull the rope over your head to work the back of your arms. Your shoulders also work to keep your body steady.

Cable Rope High Pulley Overhead Tricep Extension demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Clip the rope to the high pulley and choose your weight.
  2. 2Turn your back to the machine and stand with your feet apart.
  3. 3Hold the rope with both hands and pull it up over your head.
  4. 4Keep your upper arms straight up and close to your ears.
  5. 5Bend your elbows to slowly lower the rope behind your head.
  6. 6Stop for a second, then straighten your arms back up to the top.
  7. 7Do this again for the number of times you want.
