Cable Reverse Curl

This exercise uses a cable machine to work your biceps and forearms. It targets specific arm muscles because you hold the bar with a reverse grip.

How to Perform

  1. 1Connect a straight bar to the low pulley on the cable machine.
  2. 2Stand in front of the machine with your feet apart and knees slightly bent.
  3. 3Hold the bar with your palms facing down and hands shoulder-width apart.
  4. 4Keep your elbows close to your sides and do not move your upper arms.
  5. 5Breathe out and lift the bar up to your shoulders while squeezing your muscles.
  6. 6Stop for a short time at the top to squeeze your biceps.
  7. 7Breathe in and slowly lower the bar back down until your arms are fully straight.
  8. 8Repeat these steps for the number of times you want.
